1000 Acre Plateau 1/01/15

Heading up to 1000 Acre Plateau Thursday 1/01/15 leaving Westport mid day Thursday  leaving silver Toyota Wish FMU244 in 2WD car park & heading to Lake Matiri Hut & over night there. Friday 2/01/15 I will head up to Larrikin Hut via Poor Pete's Bivi, over nighting at Larrikin Hut, Saturday 3/01/15 weather permitting, explore tops & back to Poor Petes biv for the night, heading out to the car Sunday 4//01/15.

Brass Monkey Bivi 25/12/14

Dept 25/12/14, Leaving car silver Toyota Wish state highway 7 at the deer stalkers lodge, walking into Lucretia Hut & over night there. 26/12/14 head up to Brass Monkey Bivi & overnight,  27/12/14 May head out down Duchess stream, may head out along the tops via the apprentice coming out at Lewis pass, or may head back down past Lucretia. I will leave my intentions in Brass Monkey Bivi as this will be a bit weather dependent.
Weather turned to shit this morning 26/12/14, I have walked out from Lucretia Bivi, so now safe & sound.

Leaving Saturday morning & back Saturday afternoon. 

Out safe & sound. It's not a six hour return. Took me three hours ten minutes.

Also went & walked Alborns track. Soldiers rd Reefton.
