Glen's Bivi 3/04/15

Nick, Glen & Alan heading into Waikiti Downs. Staying at Glens Bivi then heading up to Slaty Creek Hut. Out on Monday 7th April.

Nick leaving his silver Toyota wish rego FMU244 at the DOC carpark. Meeting Glen & transferring gear into his Toyota prado rego BGE796. Crossing the Tutaekuri river just above where the Ahaura & Waiheke rivers join. Returning the same way on Monday.

Stewart Island, Southern Circuit 22/03/15

Nick & Brian start walking Sunday 22nd March. Being dropped off at Fred's camp by water taxi. Walking to Rakeahua hut & stay overnight. Following day walk to Doughboy Bay Hut & spend two nights there (one day exploring the area) weds 25th March walk to Masons Hut & overnight. The following day walk to Freshwater Landing Hut & overnight. Last day Friday 27th March walk to Fred's Camp Hut & pick up by water taxi.

Out safe & sound. 

Saw three white tail deer & three kiwi.

Beebys Hut 27/02/15

Nick & Glen 4WD to Beebys hut Friday night, Sat Glen hunting, Nick photography, sat night at Beebys hut & return home Sunday 1st March.

Cupola Hut 7/02/15

7/02/15 Water taxi to Cold Water Hut. Walk to John Tait Hut & over night. Sun 8/02/15 head up to Cupola Hut & the tops. Over night at Cupola Hut. Mon 9/02/15 walk to Cold Water Hut & overnight. Tue 10/02/15 walk out to St Arnaud.
Out safe & sound, Cupola Hut has got to be the best hut in the Nelson lakes.

Leatham Valley 30/01/15

Nick & Glen heading into Leatham Valley Friday 30/01/15.
Intentions are to head to Greigs Hut, Caves Hut, Barbers Hut,  Lower Gordon Hut &Boulder Forks Hut.
Huts may change due to weather conditions whilst we are in the valley.
