Nydia Track 30/05/15

Saturday 30/05/15 walking the Nydia track, leaving my car at Blue Moon backpackers catching a shuttle to Kaiuma Bay. walk to "On The Track Lodge" & overnight there. Sunday 31st May head towards Duncans bay. Meet a shuttle van & out to my vehicle.

Bushline Hut 16/05/15

Nick heading to Bushline Hut, Nelson lakes, leaving car Silver Toyota Wish rego FMU244 at Mt Robert car park. will dept car park mid day Saturday (16/05/15)overnight at Bushline hut the head down again on Sunday (17/05/15) morning.

Leaving Toyota wish FMU244  at Boyle outdoor centre. Walking into magdalen hut along the St James walkway. Over night at Magdalen  Hut then walk out Sunday morning.

Glen's Bivi 3/04/15

Nick, Glen & Alan heading into Waikiti Downs. Staying at Glens Bivi then heading up to Slaty Creek Hut. Out on Monday 7th April.

Nick leaving his silver Toyota wish rego FMU244 at the DOC carpark. Meeting Glen & transferring gear into his Toyota prado rego BGE796. Crossing the Tutaekuri river just above where the Ahaura & Waiheke rivers join. Returning the same way on Monday.

Stewart Island, Southern Circuit 22/03/15

Nick & Brian start walking Sunday 22nd March. Being dropped off at Fred's camp by water taxi. Walking to Rakeahua hut & stay overnight. Following day walk to Doughboy Bay Hut & spend two nights there (one day exploring the area) weds 25th March walk to Masons Hut & overnight. The following day walk to Freshwater Landing Hut & overnight. Last day Friday 27th March walk to Fred's Camp Hut & pick up by water taxi.

Saw three white tail deer & three kiwi.
