Balloon Hut

Nick heading to balloon Hut from flora saddle car park sat 22/04/17. Overnight at balloon hut then sun 23/04/17 heading to Splugeons Rock Shelter & overnight. Monday 24/04/17 heading back to car park & out.

A wee change to my plans, I only visited Splugeons Rock Shelter for lunch. As I wanted to catch up with the cavers staying at Salisbury Lodge, It was great to Catch up with Bronnie, Dave & Ella.
Also met a great Brother Sister team at Balloon & Salisbury, you guys ROCKED !!

Bushline Hut, Nelson Lakes,17/04/17

Nic & Nick, leaving Toyota Rav4 Rego HBJ329 at Mt Robert car park Mon 17th April, walking up the Zigzag track to Bushline hut overnighting at the hut, returning to car early Tuesday morning

Bushline hut was very full. So we went back to the shelter & spent a very cool night there !!!!

Hurricane Hut For The Roar, 31/03/17

We will base ourselves at the hut. Glen hunting & Nick trying to photograph stags before Glen kills them !!

Hollyford Track, 6/03/17

Nick, being flown to Martins Bay hut on Monday 6th March, overnighting at Martins Bay, then Tuesday heading towards Hokuri hut, overnight, then Demon Trail hut, overnight then Lake Alabaster hut, overnight then walk out to road end.

Nick & Brian flying into Roaring Lion hut with Karamea helicopters mid day Sunday 20th November & overnight at Roaring Lion hut.
Monday 21st November walk to Karamea bend hut & overnight.
Tuesday 22nd November walk to Crow hut for lunch then on to Venus hut & overnight.
Wednesday 23rd November walk to Thor hut for lunch then on to Trevor Carter hut & overnight.
Thursday 24th November walk to Helicopter Flat hut for lunch then on to Taipo hut.
Friday 25th November walk to Whangapeka Bivvy for lunch then on to Bell Town Manunui hut & overnight.
Sat 26th November walk out to road end
